FFII Event Planning

Document Actions

Many of the more flexible short-termed events can be found at the wiki

Before joining this site, you should join the FFII Participation System as a supporter of FFII, thereby obtaining a user id and a password, which can also be used to send commands to the ffii mail processor, to obtain privileged access to various wiki pages and for many other purposes. Please use your user id from the participation system also on the plone system, but for the time being, for security reasons, use a different password. Only later, when we have started to work over encrypted connections (ssl, ssh) will we unify the password databases.

Once you are logged in, you can customize this frontpage by clicking the edit tab on this document if you have the correct permissions. If you do not have these permissions, go to the "my folder" section (see button in top bar) and work there first, using the "add" button. It allows you to submit such nice stuff as news items and events which show up in the calendar as soon as they are approved by a reviewer.

Help with system configuration is provided by vrijschrift-sys at vrijschrift org. Help for normal users should be available at zopeadm-help at ffii org.

You can subscribe to the zopeadm project via the project subscription interface, i.e. by sending the following mail to the ffii mail processor:

  To: knecht@ffii.org
  Subject: dabei putvals
  --
  id = your_aktiv_id
  pw = your_aktiv_password

  projhlp zopeadm 2

The above command would let you read zopeadm-news and discuss in zopeadm-parl.

Discussions on the event schedule and on using Plone take place in during evening hours (after 20.00) at irc.debian.org#bxl-ffii.
