Purpose
- show inside EP what free software is, how it works and how it can be made productive for public administrations
- report about experiences with introduction of free software into administrations in member states (Germany, Spain, ...)
- think about possibilities of making free software work better at the EU level
- discuss current threats from extensions of digital exclusion right enforcement (DMCA, EUCD, IPRED)
- enhance the networking among the free software community in Europe, in particular with the New Member states
- synergy with FFII conference and demo against software patents on 14 April
