Promoting FFII/Eurolinux at FOSDEM 2004
Here comes all the information about it...

What do we have?
- The opportunity to hold a speech/info session about the current states of software patents in Europe on Sunday, at noon (about half an hour). This in cooperation with OpenStandaarden.be, a Belgian organisation promoting open standards.
- One stand/booth: At the booths there will be network connectivity (but please try to bring some switches/hubs and network cable if you intend to make use of it), eventually wi-fi (not sure yet), as well as power supply (obviously ;)). Each stand is a table (and 1 or 2 chairs ;)) with a width of about 1m60-1m80.
- Another stand at FreeEDem, a meeting about educational (free) software and free content. (At about 1 km from Fosdem)
- The possibility to give a short general introduction speech at FreeEDem. We can probably reach there a broad public of teachers, educators, ...
What will be organized?
- an info booth with stickers, t-shirts, maybe postcards, ...
- an information session
- a speech with RMS in introduction?
What do we need?
- approval of fosdem organisers -> OK
- people who want to run the info booth -> volunteers: please add your name to the Wiki
- press releases
- invitations for politicians -> Dieter will collect a list of email addresses
- promotion material
- an original action to gain press attention
